Lisbon, 18 November 2021: Fernando do Rosário, representative of CONFAGRI, was today elected Vice-President of the COPA-COGECA Olive Oil Sectoral Working Party, an organisation representing the interests of European agricultural cooperatives and producers.
It should be noted that Fernando do Rosário is a zootechnical engineer by training and has been President of the Beja and Brinches Agricultural Cooperative since July 2018. He is an olive grower and has a deep knowledge of the olive sector.
In turn, Cristobal Cano from UPA – Union de Pequeños Agricultores y Ganaderos (Union of Small Farmers and Ranchers) was elected President of the Group.
These two individuals will lead the Group for the next two years.
