ABOUT US
The history of FENAZEITES and its impact on the olive sector
FENAZEITES – Federação Nacional das Cooperativas de Olivicultores, FCRL (National Federation of Olive Growers’ Cooperatives) was founded in 1999 with the aim of representing and defending the interests of olive cooperatives and their member farmers, both nationally and internationally.
FENAZEITES was created out of the need to organise and strengthen the olive cooperative sector in a context of olive oil production deficits and a trend towards the abandonment of large areas of olive groves.
